Please pack a water bottle, lunch and a jacket or sweater. All museum fees and bus fares are included. $65 per child -- ages 6 and up. Photography Workshop for Kids: Friday & Sunday afternoons, March 10th + 15th
2 Day Landscape Photography Workshop for ages 6 to 14 - Winter 2013
A Day of Nature — Landscape Photography Workshop

Sunday March 10th, 1pm to 4:30pm
 & Friday March 15th, 5pm to 6:30pm

Discover the beauty, color, and life of nature through the lens of a camera. Using the casual disposable camera as our tool, we will learn about how we can use photography to capture flowers, trees, butterflies and all the nature we see every day. On the first day, take a photo walk with one of our artist-teachers as we explore Golden Gate Park and the Conservatory of Flowers area and develop our own way of seeing our surrounding environment — observing colors, textures, compositions, movement, and light. Upon returning to the studio for our final meeting, we will organize our photographs into an engaging narrative.
Materials Needed: 2 or 3 Disposable Cameras -- to be developed between class meetings. To create the final presentation, supplies will be included.
$85 per child-- ages 6 and up. This workshop will be limited to 8 children to ensure a 1:4 teaching and supervision ratio. To sign up, please register online -- see our Winter Classes & Workshops registration form.
